Switzerland, in spite of being a small country, is home to over 50,000 species of animals and plants, with over thirty thousand of them insects. There are around 83 mammal types of mammals most of them are bats and other small animals.

The natural wonders of Switzerland are kept in constant scrutiny with the umber of these species remaining constant between years 1987 to 2005 and some species that have disappeared had been replaced or reintroduce into the ecosystem. Some of these species have reestablished themselves out of their own accord, obviously attracted to the lush flora of this area which makes it irresistible even for the animal kingdom!

The Switzerland lands have been blessed with a rich diversity of flora due to the variety of soil, altitude and climate from one region to another. Thus the plants range from desert-like miniatures to gigantic trees that grace the Swiss forest and marshes.

The Mountains have been a tremendous climate changer, with each region having its own microclimate along with the plants and vegetation most suitable for the particular area.

The valleys are often covered with lush carets of colorful flowers, form lilies to violets, visitors are often delighted and astounded by the burst of vibrant colors that add color to this land. The soldanellas, primulas, crocus, anemones come into flower early in the year, adding a thick carpet of dazzling colors to the landscape.
